Who's behind it
The 8am Club is run by Steve Mark and Chris Sweetnam, the directors of We Are SMC. Steve has spent 20 years working with the trades, starting with his own print and design business for tradespeople, and he's a member of Grafters.
The tips, and the answers in the chat, come from the work we do with trades and construction firms every week. It's the same thinking that took Videtta Heating from £223k to £1.3m in five years.

Is it free?
Yes. The 8am tips and the advice in the group are free.
Can I ask my own questions?
Yes, that's what the group is for. Post a question about your marketing, your website or AI and the We Are SMC team will answer it in the group.
Will my phone be blowing up?
It's a chat, so other members post too, but it stays on growing your business: the 8am tip, questions and answers. If it's ever too much, mute the group and catch up when it suits you.
Can other members see my number?
It's a normal WhatsApp group, so other members may be able to see the number you join with. If that matters to you, check your WhatsApp privacy settings before you join.
Can I leave?
Any time. Open the group, tap its name and choose Exit group. No hard feelings.
Is it a sales pitch?
No. It's tips, answers and ideas you can use straight away. If you ever want more help, you'll know where to find us.
